Regardless if that quote actually comes from Plato or just some college kid hanging out in his dorm in the early 00s’, you know it’s true. Having a freshly delivered pizza box just waiting to be opened is one of the best feelings in the entire world (double points if you’ve got a cold six-pack at your side as well).

That’s why Sherpa’s is hosting our Pizza Fest 2019! We’ve teamed up with a bunch of great partner restaurants to provide you with some serious deals that will get you lots of dough without spending lots of dough. We’re also giving away great prizes, hosting a pizza awards competition for you to vote for your favourites, and crowning the king (or queen) of pizza.

Bubba’s Chili Cook Off Results

Though stormy clouds loomed, attendees at the annual Bubba’s Chili Cook Off celebrated its 10th delicious event with much enthusiasm on Saturday, November 7. Hosted at Wellington College, the family-friendly event was a hit with all ages – the chili, of course, was the main event.

There were many big hitters among the more than 20 participating teams including restaurants: Maya, Pistolera, Big Bamboo, and Zotter Chocolate Theatre. The competition was fierce.

After countless tasty spoonfuls of chili samples and intense deliberation, the judges announced the final winners with much fanfare.

Overall Winners of Best Chili:
Team CDC aka Coalition for Dangerous Chili

Sean Jorgensen (formerly of Liquid Laundry, Boxing Cat, Maya), Paul Eschbach (Jean Georges) and Justin Fischer (Tablelife), with Tablelife providing the ingredients.
