It‘s time once again for us to take a great song and Sherpa‘s-ize it! This time the song is No Woman, No Cry by the immortal Bob Marley. It‘s going to be performed by Noukilla, an amazing Sega band who play music from Mauritius. See below for the original lyrics to the song (some differing opinions on some words), then rewrite it Sherpa‘s style. Please, DON鈥橳 BE AFRAID TO POKE FUN AT US! We don鈥檛 want the song to be a commercial for Sherpa‘s but a rather a slightly self deprecating, fun song that can make waiting on hold not seem so bad. Post your entries as a comment to this post directly on our blog or send them to competition@sherpa.com.cn

Lyrics:
No woman, no cry (repeat 4 times)
Said said
Said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba, ob-serving the hypocrites
As they would mingle with the good people we meet
Good friends we have had, oh, good friends we鈥檝e lost, along the way
In this great future you can鈥檛 forget your past
So dry your tears, I say
No woman, no cry
No woman, no cry
Oh my Little sister, don鈥檛 shed no tears
No woman, no cry
Said, said, said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire light
Log wood burnin鈥?through the night
Then we would cook corn meal porridge
Of which I鈥檒l share with you
My feet is my only carriage
So I鈥檝e got to push on through
But while I鈥檓 gone鈥?
Everything‘s gonna be alright (repeat 8 times)
No woman, no cry
No, no woman, no woman, no cry
Oh, little sister, don鈥檛 shed no tears
No woman, no cry
