A pizzeria in the state of Iowa, USA has become a local celebrity with their more unusual toppings.

The restaurant has sold Ramen Pizza, Dill Pickle Pizza, and a Thai Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza, but it is Fong’s latest creation, the Froot Loops Pizza, that has sparked horrified responses from social media users.

The novelty pizza that features on their breakfast menu is made with a sweet cream cheese sauce base, mozzarella cheese, actual Froot Loops, and drizzles of Greek yogurt and condensed milk.

‘Making pizzas that are outside the box has always been a staple of Fong’s,’ owner Gwen Page told the Des Moines Register. ‘Now we’re trying things out for breakfast pizzas.’

Although the pizza has become a hit in it’s home city of Des Moines, the internet has not been so kind.
