Norway: Dried Reindeer Meat

With a movie industry bigger than Hollywood, going to the cinema is the most popular pastime in India. The samosa is not a food we would generally associate with the cinema, but in India, it’s a snack enjoyed while watching a Bollywood blockbuster. They are traditionally filled with mashed potatoes, peas and spices then deep-fried.

Mexico: Tostilocos

Tostilocos are a popular street snack in many parts of Mexico. They are tortilla chips loaded with cueritos, cucumber, jícama, lime juice, hot sauce, chile powder and spicy peanuts. It’s typically served straight out of the chip bag, and movie theatres in Northern Mexico often have a fully loaded Tostilocos food cart in the lobby.

We’re not sure this is the healthiest snack to gorge on through a three hour Marvel movie, but probably no less than a bottomless bucket of toffee butter popcorn.
