Inspired by Vivid – Australia’s annual light and music festival…

…these colorful creations are a psychedelic treat that contain pork, seafood, and that savoury XLB soup broth that we all know and love (and depend on to get us through winter).
Not only do they look awesome, but they’re also 7-times larger than Din Tai Fung’s original xiaolongbao and require a minimum of 30 folds to seal. They’re a little pricey at $9.80 Australian dollars (¥46.6), but not wallet-bustlingly so. We’d splurge for a couple.

Unfortunately, this promo was only available in Sydney and Melbourne from May 24th until June 15th, but we’re hoping a version can make it over to China! We don’t need a special festival to get all lit up – Shanghai, Beijing, and Suzhou are covered with neon lights after all.
