We’ve got a new judge for our Play With Your Food Contest and think you may have missed the last announcement so read on. Previously, we had told everyone that we would have a panel of kids judging the contest. Though this would have been adorable, we decided to go another route and have now enlisted the help of the Shanghai School of Burlesque’s beautiful and talented Anna Fur Laxis.
Ranked as No. 5 in the world for the ‘’Burlesque Top 50’’ and received an award from the Burlesque Hall of Fame, Anna Fur Laxis is one of the world’s most renowned Burlesque artists and one of the most talented in her genre. Travelling the world and forever perfecting her craft, Anna has brought us everything from axe-throwing to her illustrious Bettie Page tribute act. She is the epitome of beauty and poise, but brings a level of danger to her performances that have even been known to make audiences faint.
If you have been lucky enough to see Anna Fur Laxis perform at one of her many shows in Shanghai, you’ll know just how talented and mesmerizing she is. So mesmerizing, in fact, that we could not resist the chance of pulling her in to our contest to do us the honour of judging. With this in mind, it’s now your job to figure out how to play with your food and be creative enough to catch the eye of this drop-dead gorgeous, axe-wielding lady.
