Shanghai Stuck in Limbo Over Holiday

For all of you who thought that this October Golden Week Holiday was going to be relaxing and quiet in Shanghai, you were wrong. Unlike the ghost-town that was this bustling city this time last year, there is expected to be so many people sticking around, or coming to visit, that authorities have taken pre-emptive action and actually all but closed down parts of the city. We’re not joking. Pretty much all of Yangpu as well as small parts of Huangpu and Pudong will be impossible to get to or from. The city will be shutting down roads, subways and busses in and out of this part of town. Obviously, this makes our job a lot harder to so please be informed before ordering over the holiday. If we can’t get there easily, or get out, your delivery time will undoubtedly be affected. Check the link and the map for more info here.
