Ho ho ho! Tis’ the season for hot mulled wine, hearty eats, and plenty of great shopping events. We’ve compiled this handy list of fun places to go this holiday season just for you. Hopefully that gets us onto Santa’s nice list this year.

WAB Winter Charity Bazaar

The Western Academy of Beijing will be hosting a holiday market with dozens of local and international vendors and charity organizations selling a wide variety of handicrafts and tasty handmade treats. There’ll also be stage performances to keep shoppers entertained throughout the day.

November 23rd & 30th: 

Roundabout Charity Fair

Roundabout organizes two charity fairs (at Shunyi Fornia Theatre on November 23rd and BCIS on November 30th), bringing together a wide range of arts and crafts, Christmas goods, cosmetics, embroidery, jewelry, and more, all in the name of supporting the underprivileged.

December 19th: 

YCIS 2019 Christmas Bazaar

YCIS Beijing PO and SC will once again host the fantastic and joyful Annual Christmas Bazaar on Thursday, December 19th. A huge range of vendors and charity organizations sell various handicrafts and tasty handmade treats.

December 8th: 

Rumble in the Jumble

Rumble in the Jumble is back on December 8th for a cozy Hutong Christmas Market! Come join the party at The Other Place in Gulou from 12-6pm, with market stalls, a DJ, and plenty of warm, tasty beverages.

Farm to Neighbors

Advocating a zero-waste lifestyle, Farm to Neighbors (F2N) Market offers fresh local vegetables and fruits, Beijing-made cheeses, bread, cookies, numerous other delicious goodies, as well as jewelry, skincare, shoes, and clothes from various small independent designers and artisans. In keeping with the spirit of the other eco-friendly events on this list, please bring your own shopping bags to reduce waste. Also, this weekend, they’re having their first two-day market in Parkview Place event’s space just southwest of Jiangtai subway station.
