Kicking off at 7.30pm on Friday evening 30th March, join us at ARCADE by Hatchery in Guomao for a fuuuuun party full of creativity, food and plenty of refreshing beverages! We will have a range of different food stations to challenge your taste buds and get the party started.
Part 1: Testing your flavour profile!
At the TASTE Museum’s first station, we can help tell you what your flavour profile and sensitivity to different foods is simply by a ‘licking test’ using easy technology. Whether you have an extreme, moderate or normal taste profile we’ll be able to let you know!
Part 2: Taste me if you dare！
All kinds of delicious and unique food from different parts of the world, animal and body are gathered here. From scale 1 to scale 10,the truly brave will be certified as “Beijing Most Bravery Foodies”!
Part 3: Chinese + international tapas tasting with wine pairing!
Excited to find out the perfect balance between Chinese flavours and Old World wines?
It’s easy to get confused by pairing different wines with different foods. Our third station lets you reset and try a bunch of delicious foods prepared by the ARCADE and Hatchery team, alongside yummy Old world fine wines sponsored by Let’s Drink. As an added bonus, we’ll be sharing you our views on wine trends and pairing notes for 2018!
Ten different wines from our partner Let’s Drink including National-treasure level Botrytised sweet wine from Hungary, and’internet celebrity’ Italian sweet sparkling wine. Moreover, there are free flow wines at the bar all over the time!
An exclusive station of Hatchery’s Food Ops Manager Simone, Arcade’s Head Chef Jason collaborating on a room full of paired canapes and wines. The canapes range from Hatchery’s Peruvian Concept’s – Buena Onde with red wine from Dogue de Bordeaux to some very surprising Chinese dishes paired with European wines. Spend the evening nibbling and sipping on tidbits of exclusive pairings inbetween checking out the other zones.
Part 4: DIY cocktail and 5 stars！
Oozing imagination and always wanting to develop your unique cocktail mix? Now is your chance at our fourth Station –the Mixing Lab. Make your own guru cocktail and explore the mixture tastes of different wines!
Moreover, at the DIY session, you can create your own 5-star canape using a selection of Hatchery’s Middle Eastern Concept’s (Tel Aviv) dips and toppings. We will supply you with all the ingredients to make something truly photo worthy. In fact, take a photo of your canape and the most beautiful one will win amazing prizes worth over 1000 RMB.
