Now Hiring: Editor

When life gives you lemons, do you immediately comment that life couldn’t possibly give you lemons because they’re actually an artificial hybrid? If so, we like you. Come edit for us.
We’re looking for a detail-orientated foodie who sweats the small stuff to write company blogs and news, edit menus, proofread, and work with our social media accounts.. In addition, you’ll get to taste test new restaurants to add for delivery.

With plans for rapid growth, it’s an exciting time with plenty of opportunities to join our growing team.

Must be a native English speaker with at least two years of post-university full-time writing experience and very good communication skills. Knowledge of the local restaurant scene, a journalism background, and Chinese language skills are definite advantages.

Mid-Autumn Festival Wine Contest

It’s the middle of September, so you know what that means: it’s time for all your Chinese friends and colleagues to give you little round cakes the likes of which you’ve never tasted before and probably will never want to taste again. Not to say that all Mooncakes are bad, but sifting through the thousands of variations to find the good ones is just too time consuming. Wouldn’t you just rather have a nice glass, or a dozen, of wine?

That’s what we’re offering you on this long weekend. And the best part is that it doesn’t even matter where you are to get it. You could be far off on some dream four-day holiday and still be in to win our six-pack of carefully curated wines. The only thing you need is your phone, the Internet, and to be following our WeChat account.

Each day, from Thursday to Saturday, check out our account for the daily riddle and send us your answer. We promise, they won’t be too difficult. The hardest part will be to remember to send us an answer three days running.
