Collect as many likes from others on your review as possible in October. -
You can write a review in either the App or the Mini Program, but for now, people can only like your reviews on the App (not in the Mini Program). -
Make your reviews detailed, useful and fun. Add nice photos along with the reviews to get more likes. -
The reviews can be for any type of business, such as restaurants, parks, schools, clinics, etc. No restrictions.
WHEN

Only reviews written in October 2021 are counted in the campaign – they need to have a time stamp between Oct 1st to October 31, 2021.
WHERE

You can review any venue in any city – your chances of winning is independent of your location. -
However, please note that the prizes can only be used at the four restaurants mentioned in this article (all based in Shanghai). That is, you can win prizes and gift to your friends in Shanghai if you can’t be in the city. -
If you want to review places not listed on Bon App yet, submit to Bon App (see image below) and you can review right away following the submission. Bon App team will add to the database in a few days for others to see and like your reviews.
HOW

Get people to like your reviews on Bon App Feed. As many likes as possible. -
Getting a like can only be done in App, not in BonAppMini yet. -
Just like everything else in life: like others’ reviews on Bon App Feed, and they are more likely to like yours in return. -
Get your friends to sign up on Bon App and like your reviews to add an extra boost. -
Avoid short and dry reviews with no photos. BonAppers don’t like them.
WHO WINS?

We only look at one number: the total # of likes from others on all your reviews combined, in October 2021 (Bon App tech department will calculate the results). -
For example, if you leave 10 reviews in October, and each review receives 10 likes, then your total number of likes is 100. -
We will announce the results in early November: the top 10 people with the most combined # of likes of all reviews become the winners. -
One person can only win one prize. -
Each of the 10 winners gets to choose a free menu at any of the four restaurants in this article. (each restaurant has a few of the same menu). -
The #1 ranked winner gets to choose first, and the #2 ranked gets to choose second, and so on (while supply lasts).
TIE-BREAKERS

When there is a tie, the person with more likes on this article shared on WeChat Moments will win (please note that one needs to share this article on Moments to confirm participation) -
If there is still a tie, the person with more likes on the reviews of the four participating restaurants (Colca, Ginger, Mel Bourne, The Pawon) will win. Please note that we only count the number of likes on reviews written in October. -
The final numbers on the last day of October will be used to break the ties.

HOW TO REDEEM MY PRIZE?

The ONLY WAY to redeem is to reserve a table via Bon App ahead of time.

Before you confirm the reservation, add a note in the special requests “Bon App Review Winner”.

If you forget to reserve your table or forget to add the note, the restaurant has the right to refuse the prizes. That’d be quite disappointing – so let’s try our best to remember. -
The deadline to redeem the prizes is December 31, 2021 – please reserve ahead of time.
