Banlange Pasture, also known as Kunlun Pasture, is located at the northern foot of the Kunlun Mountains. It is a national first-class natural pasture and is known for its excellent grass quality and pollution-free environment. Due to drought and low rainfall in the Hetian area, the soil is alkaline. Even though the pasture has more than 500 varieties of pure natural pastures, it is not lush. Hotan sheep must walk long distances to forage, so they are relatively small but provide high meat quality and a tender and fresh taste.

板兰格草场又称昆仑草场，位于昆仑山北麓，是国家一级天然草场，以草质优良无污染著称。由于和田地区干旱少雨，加上土壤偏碱性，因此牧场虽然长有500多个品种的纯天然牧草，但却不够茂盛，和田羊要吃到足够的食物，必须在草原上不停的行走觅食，因此和田羊个体相对比较小，出肉率不高，但身体比较健壮，肉质细嫩，膻味小。

二、新疆特色美食——烤羊肉串制作方法

1. Select fresh and lean mutton, wash with water, and then cut into small pieces.

1. 选取新鲜且肥瘦相间的羊肉，用清水洗干净，然后改刀切成肉串大小的羊肉小块备用。

2. Put the cut mutton into a pot, add the appropriate amount of starch, egg whites, salt, and stir well. (By stewing the lamb in starch, the roasted lamb skewers can achieve the desired exterior tenderness).

2. 将切好的羊肉放入盆中，加入适量的淀粉、蛋清、盐、搅拌均匀。（放淀粉腌制，烤出来的羊肉串才能达到外焦里嫩的效果）

3. Peel the onion and cut into shreds, slice ginger, put in the lamb, stir well, then marinate for 8 hours.

3. 将洋葱去皮切成丝、生姜切片、放入羊肉里搅拌均匀，然后腌制8个小时

4. After the lamb skewers are marinated, they can be grilled on a charcoal grill. When the kebabs are ready to be grilled, sprinkle a little salt, cumin powder, and chili powder. After grilling, it’s time to eat!

4. 以上就是新疆羊肉串的腌制方法，肉串腌制好后就可以放到木炭烧烤炉上烤制了，羊肉串快烤好时撒入少许的盐、孜然粉、辣椒粉，香喷喷的烤羊肉串就烤好可以吃啦
