不过夏季门窗紧闭，那就要小心室内甲醛的浓度了。世界卫生组织已经确定甲醛为一类致癌物。

按照国标要求，居室空间甲醛最高容许浓度为0.08mg/ m³。

However, when the doors and windows are tightly closed, you need to be careful of the concentration of formaldehyde in the room. The World Health Organization has identified formaldehyde as a Category One risk of carcinogens. According to the requirements of the national standards, the maximum allowable concentration of formaldehyde in the living space is 0.08mg/m³.

相信到这里，很多人很自然地认为，只要控制在这个指数以内，房间就是安全的。但其实甲醛对人体，尤其是对孩子伤害之大，很多人了解并不充分。

孩子免疫系统和身体发育都不完善，对污染物反应更敏感。而婴幼儿处于生长发育旺盛期，耗氧量是成年人的2倍，随之吸入的甲醛量也会是成人的２倍，对其他空气污染物摄入量也比成人更大。

Naturally many people think that as long as the formaldehyde is controlled within this level, the room is safe. But in fact, formaldehyde is still harmful enough for the human body, especially for children. The child’s immune system and physical development are immature and more sensitive to pollutants.

Infants and young children are in a period of vigorous growth, and oxygen consumption is twice that of adults. The amount of formaldehyde that will be inhaled will also be twice that of adults. The intake of other air pollutants is also greater than that of adults.

对孩子来说，室内甲醛浓度达到0.06-0.07mg/ m³时，就能引发气喘病。

For children, when the indoor formaldehyde concentration reaches 0.06-0.07 mg/ m³, asthma can be triggered.
