Founded as the first craft brewery in Beijing in 2010, Great Leap Brewing brings a series of craft beers that represent the unique tastes of Chinese cuisine with a deep respect for local culture and the craft of brewing. They source the finest raw materials both domestically and internationally and seek to incorporate high-quality teas, spices, honey, fruits, and vegetables into our beer menu. They have three locations and produce over 60 classic and seasonal brews each year.

Starting in 2013, Great Leap Brewing also began creating gastronomic delicacies in their various brewpubs and restaurants around town. Their menu is full of burgers, sandwiches, numerous choices of New York-style pizzas, salads, as well as other bar snacks. While for a long time only available at their locations, and then with a few choices available on different delivery platforms, they are now happy to announce that their full menu is available to be ordered directly to your door courtesy of Sherpa’s.

The‘ Shroom

Their ‘Shroom (120rmb) pizza is made with a garlic oil base and topped with their GLB house cheese blend, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, lemon honey ricotta, grated with Parmesan cheese, and topped off with a layer of fresh arugula.

The Brooklyn Supreme Pizza

Their Brooklyn Supreme (140rmb) pizza features a tomato sauce base and is topped with house-made sausage, pepperoni, roasted red peppers, pickled peppers, black olives, shallots, and red chilli flakes. It’s definitely great for carnivores and hangover sufferers alike.

The Cheeseburger

Their signature Cheeseburger (65rmb) at Great Leap Brewing (annually voted Beijing’s second to the fourth best burger) is made with double patty 100% Australia Angus grass-fed beef, delicious house-made crunchy pickles, two slices of cheddar cheese, in-house blended fancy sauce, and mayonnaise all put on a sesame bun.

The Chop Salad

For the healthy food lovers who’d like to balance out our burgers and pizzas, try the Chop Salad (60rmb) – dices of salami, shredded mozzarella, and smoked gouda perched on the piles of mixed greens, cucumber, shallot, cherry tomato, pickled pepper, and mixed beans, finally seasoned with oregano dressing.

Other bar snacks include Beer Battered Fried Chicken (40rmb), Buffalo Chicken Wings (eight pieces for 55rmb) paired with blue cheese sauce, Spinach Cheese Dip (40rmb), and Cajun-seasoned Crispy Fried Oyster Mushrooms (45rmb).
