核酸检测未来在机场和大型活动中可能会略有不同。研究人员在通过呼气来检测中取得了突破性进展，这可能会成为一种更快速、更便宜、侵入性更小的检测手段。

Different breath tests are being developed by several centres around the world, including one led by Yao Maosheng, a professor at the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at Peking University, which sees patients exhale into a bad for 30 seconds with results produced in under 15 seconds.

世界各地都在发展不同的呼气检测，其中一个由北京大学环境科学与工程学院教授Yao Maosheng领导，检测者只需呼气 30 秒后，15 秒内就可以出检测结果。

荷兰还推出了一种快速呼气检测，可以在一分钟内出检测结果，但是目前要求测试者还需进行 PCR 测试以确认诊断。

Although the accuracy is lower than the gold standard we see from PCR testing, the breath test produces much faster and cheaper results, which could see it being commonly used for mass testing.

虽然检测准确度偏低，但呼气检测速度更快、成本更低，非常适用大规模检测。

So, it might not be long before a breath test is the new way of diagnosing COVID-19, at least  amongst certain groups and at certain locations or events.

可以期待在不久的将来，呼气检测将成为诊断 COVID-19 新方法。
