We’re very thankful to everyone that took part in our Lunch for Trees campaign – because of your generous efforts, 4099 trees will be planted on behalf of Sherpa’s by the Million Tree Project!
The shrubs will be planted this year in Baijitan, Ningxia and will help to combat desertification, soften the impact of sandstorms, and fight global warming. We hope to give you an update later this year so stay tuned for more!
Did you know that we donate half the profits from our 1rmb cutlery fee to Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Shanghai organization? By ordering cutlery in February, March and April of this year, you’ve helped us donate 3,106.30rmb to plant trees in Inner Mongolia. Since implementing this 1rmb charge for cutlery in April of 2013, we’ve managed to plant 1,113 trees. Thanks for all your support!

We managed to raise a total of 2214rmb in December 2014 and January 2015. All in all, since we started this cooperation in April of 2013, we’ve managed to donate enough money to plant 988 trees in Inner Mongolia. Visit the link below to find out more about this great program.
Every month we donate half of the proceeds from cutlery sales to Roots & Shoots that help support Jane Goodall’s worthy tree-planting organization. Last month in October you helped to donate 1214rmb. So far, since we started charging for cutlery in April of 2013, we’ve managed to donate 21,266rmb, which equals 850 trees. Thanks for your support!
